36 hours to the flight

just 36 hours to the flight to BA (Buenos Aires). But only 28 to departure from home. And I still have to do everything! I've tried to start packing my backpack but I just can't, I walk up and down the flat doing nothing. So decided to write a bit here, and then change my strategy. Will pack the house, remove some of my personal things, my clothes, my shoes, as I don't think Julien will wear them. How many boxes am I gonna do? too many ;-)

1 week to go, getting a bit nervous, is it normal?

Exactly 1 week! in 7 days, right now I will be taking off from Paris destination Buenos aires (BA). wow, the dream finally become reality!!!
in the last days i've been preparing myself, bought almost everything, anyway I'm sure I can find everything in argentina if needed.
The big highlight has been yesterday, the leaving party. WOWWWWWWW at least 50 people showed up. Lots of food and drinks, mainly desserts to be honest, so funny to see the whole house covered with cakes! It's been a great party, I even got presents...Plopsa, my "teddy bear" he is gonna come with me down under, even to Antarctica. I had to promise to take pictures with him everywhere ;-) And also the "I love Brussels" t-shirt, with the names of everybody, I'll be so produ wearing it! I can take it too to antarctica, but will not show it in the pictures...too cold!!!
Really thank you my friends, it has been a wonderful night, I will surely miss you!
But...ehi, I'm so excited!!!!!
Still 5 days of work, not looking forward to the France trip on tuesday (with flight at 8.10, WHY WHY WHY???), but I'll survive ;-) The next big thing will be to remove my staff from the flat, I found a tenant...it's Julien my colleague, so lucky, I'm really happy! Then next saturday is gonna be packing day, that's gonna be difficult to do, I know I will tend to bring too much! but one things is certain... I'm bringing only 3 pairs of shoes...a record for me!
Right, it's midnight, and i'm pretty tired having slept less than 4 hours last night.

13 days left, it's getting exciting!

Less than 2 weeks, in 14 days I'll be eating Asado in Buenos aires ;-))))

-18 days....I am amazed!!

So...yesterday I passed the whole evening sorting friends mail addresses, to send out the "update and travel" mail. Lots of them were wrong, too old to be still existing. But many more are still alive!!! I pent 2 hours this evening checking the mails from you, my friends! I almost cried reading what you wrote, your updates, and your willingness to read my adventures... maybe I should really start writing a book!!!
So, a huge thank you to you all, I love you my friends!

- 19, it's getting closer and closer!

just 19 days left to my departure. The list of things to do before going is getting longer and longer, but also somehow shorter, as I am doing lots of things! saturday I bought sunblock for Antarctica, today i'm updating my address book, and I bought clothes, hat, SD cards and things like that. I still have to clean up the flat, buy dozen on things, cut down on the things I will take with me, book my first night in Buenos Aires, finding someone to rent my flat and so on...ARGH, I won't make it ;-))
Anyway, my moral is pretty high, i'm excited, and it's so nice all these people asking questions about my trip!!
Time to go on with the list now ;-)
